Bolat, who accompanied President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in New York to attend the 79th United Nations (UN) General Assembly, shared a post about his contacts in the US on his X social media account.
Minister Bolat said, “As part of our bilateral and multilateral talks that have been going on for two days in New York, we have come together with business world representatives from the USA and many countries of the world to explain the potential of our country.”
In this context, Bolat stated that they held a meeting with the President of the US Chamber of Commerce, Suzanne Clark, and that the investment environment and possible opportunities in Turkey were discussed at the meeting.
Bolat said, “We believe that the diversification of cooperation areas by Turkish and American companies that have important collaborations in different areas coming together will have a positive impact on the upward acceleration of the trade volume between the two countries. Our companies will play an important role in reaching the goal of increasing the trade volume between Turkey and the US to 100 billion dollars.”
