VPN use has become widespread in recent days. VPNs, or virtual private networks, used to access blocked sites pose many dangers.
Marmara University Visual Communication Design Department Head Prof. Dr. Ali Murat Kırık explained to SABAH the points to be considered regarding the subject.

Underlining that cyber hackers can obtain personal information through VPN applications, Kırık said, ”VPN (Virtual Private Network) use generally provides a safer online experience by encrypting and anonymizing your internet traffic.
There has been a significant increase in the downloading of VPN applications due to the BTK blocking access to Instagram. Of course, this situation has also whetted the appetite of cyber hackers.
