Anyone who has taken out BU insurance for which a risk surcharge is charged has the option of subsequently deleting this. Requirement: You must prove to the insurer that the reason for the surcharge no longer exists. If the surcharge was charged for a specific hobby that you have now demonstrably given up, you have a good chance that the surcharge will no longer apply in the future.
Insurers rate leisure activities very differently. A comparison is therefore worthwhile. And another tip: After taking out the insurance, you can start any hobby – without risking any risk premiums. There is no obligation to register hobbies at a later date – unless you want to subsequently adjust the insured sum. It is therefore worth taking out BU insurance at a young age.
