The BIST 100 index at Borsa Istanbul lost 0.49 percent of its value in the first half of the day, falling to 10,049.35 points.
BIST 100 index, which moved in a downward trend in the first half of the day, fell to 10,049.35 points as of 13:00, a decrease of 49.58 points and 0.49 percent compared to the previous closing. The total transaction volume was 42.6 billion lira.
The banking index decreased by 2.53 percent and the holding index decreased by 0.12 percent.
Among the sector indices, the one that gained the most was trade with 2.25 percent, and the one that decreased the most was banking.
Analysts stated that the data agenda was calm in the country in the afternoon, while inflation, mortgage applications and federal budget balance in the USA would be followed abroad, and noted that technically, 9,950 and 9,900 levels in the BIST 100 index were support, and 10,150 and 10,200 points were resistance.
