The late start of the construction season means that the tourism season is extended. People come here to listen to the sea and the sand,” he said.
‘ENGLAND HAS THE MOST ACCOMMODATIONS’
Alişir Şahin said, “In addition, flights to Bodrum via England will continue in the winter period. Flights continue in the same way in the domestic market. However, the weather is also warm and people will take advantage of this warm weather and continue to come to Bodrum. Especially in the winter period Bodrum will continue to be preferred with its cultural places to visit, including our underwater museum. Last year, we started the season with a 12 percent increase in the number of foreign tourists. Now, the rates are similar to last year. We have not experienced any loss in the foreign market. Currently, the demand continues in the winter season. A total of 1 million 100 thousand foreign guests came to Bodrum by sea and air. The first market in Bodrum has been England for years, and this year Poland is doing very well, followed by Russia. The accommodation period is 7 days. The UK market is the best and we will attend fairs in Europe during the winter. “As tourism professionals, we have started to prepare for the 2025 season,” he said.

Stating that direct flights from Europe to Bodrum have started in the winter period, Bodrum Hoteliers Association President Ömer Faruk Dengiz said: “According to airline data, we are above average. British Airlines extended flights to Bodrum until November 15. Direct flights between Bodrum and London will begin. We need to satisfy our arriving guests by providing them with good service.
