Stocks traded in Borsa Istanbul decreased by an average of 3.96 percent on a weekly basis, the gram price of gold decreased by 1.14 percent, Euro / TL decreased by 0.26 percent, while dollar / TL increased by 0.69 percent.
After seeing the lowest point of 9,699.85 and the highest point of 10,157.77, BIST 100 index completed the week at 9,724.50 points, 3.96 percent below the previous week’s closing.
This week, the gram sales price of 24 carat gold bullion traded in the Grand Bazaar decreased by 1.14 percent to 2 thousand 959 liras, and the sales price of republic gold decreased by 1.12 percent to 20 thousand 75 liras.
The sales price of quarter gold, which was 5 thousand 10 liras last weekend, decreased by 1.08 percent to 4 thousand 956 liras.
This week, the US dollar gained 0.69 percent in value and rose to 35.1900 liras, while the Euro decreased by 0.26 percent to 36.6510 liras.
Mutual funds lost 0.45 percent and pension funds 0.82 percent this week.
When looked at by category, the most profitable investment funds were “money market” funds with 0.93 percent.
