Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) published the statistics on paid employees for June.
Accordingly, the total number of paid employees in the industry, construction, and trade-service sectors increased by 3.4 percent on an annual basis in June, reaching 15 million 601 thousand 552 people. This number was recorded as 15 million 82 thousand 853 people in June last year.
When we look at the sub-details of paid employees, the number of paid employees increased by 0.1 percent annually in the industry sector, 8.8 percent in the construction sector and 4.4 percent in the trade-services sector in June.
NUMBER OF PAID EMPLOYEES DECREASED BY 0.4 PERCENT ON A MONTHLY BASIS
The total number of paid employees in the industry, construction and trade-services sectors decreased by 0.4 percent on a monthly basis in June.
When we look at the sub-details, there was a monthly decrease of 0.8 percent in the industry sector, 0.4 percent in the construction sector and 0.1 percent in the trade-services sector in June among paid employees.
