The number of wage employees in the total of industry, construction and trade-trade sectors increased by 2.2 percent in December 2024 compared to the same month of the previous year and exceeded 15 million 582 thousand.
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) has published paid employee statistics regarding the December 2024 period.
Accordingly, in December 2023 15 million 244 thousand 39 people in the total number of employees in the total number of employees, construction and trade-service sectors, increased by 2.2 percent in the same period of the previous year, 15 million 582 thousand 255 people rose.
The number of wage employees decreased by 0.9 percent in the industrial sector in the industrial sector, 4.2 percent in the construction sector and 3.7 percent in trade-trading sector.

In December 2024, the number of wage employees in the total of industry, construction and trade-trade sectors did not change compared to the previous month.
