Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş said, “We have deposited the SED payment totaling 1 billion 189 million liras for January into the accounts.”

Minister Göktaş announced that a total of 1 billion 189 million lira Social and Economic Support (SED) payment for January was deposited into the accounts to support children socially and cover their education expenses.

In his statement, Minister Göktaş stated that they attach special importance to services for children and diversify the services by taking into account the different needs of children. In this context, Minister Göktaş stated that they support children with SED, alongside their families and within their social environment, and that they work with all their efforts to ensure that children grow up as self-confident, educated and healthy individuals with national values.

Stating that they strive to ensure that children can grow up with family compassion and warmth through family-oriented social service models, Minister Göktaş said, “We have deposited a total of 1 billion 189 million lira SED payment for January into the accounts in order to support children socially and cover their education expenses.”

With the new regulation in the civil servant salary coefficient for January, the economic support amount per child in the SED service will be deposited to the accounts of the beneficiaries in February, increasing as an average of 7 thousand 94 lira.
