Turkish Lira deposits and participation accounts (KKM) decreased by 46 billion 430 million pounds last week to 919 billion 592 million pounds and the share of the KKM in total deposits decreased below 5 percent.
According to the weekly bulletin issued by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Authority (BRSA), the total loan volume of the banking sector increased by 177 billion 485.7 million pounds in the week of February 14 to 16 trillion 485 billion 706 million pounds, 16 trillion 663 billion 541 million pounds.
The total deposits in the banking sector increased by 448 billion 405 million pounds last week, including between banks, increased to 19 trillion 702 billion 881 million pounds.
The amount of consumer loans was 2 trillion 91 billion pounds
The amount of consumer loans increased by 23 billion 668 million pounds as of February 14 to 2 trillion 90 billion 865 million pounds.
529 billion 669 million pounds of the amount in question, 70 billion 13 million pounds vehicle and 1 trillion 491 billion 183 million pounds consisted of consumed loans.
During this period, the amount of installment commercial loans increased by 27 billion 422 million pounds to 2 trillion 362 billion 475 million pounds.
Individual credit card receivables of banks increased by 1.9 percent to 1 trillion 915 billion 347 million pounds. 668 billion 564 million pounds of individual credit card receivables in installments, 1 trillion 246 billion 783 million pounds created debts without installments.

In the same period, the legal resources of the banking system decreased by 66 million pounds to 3 trillion 585 billion 267 million pounds.
KKM balance last week, 46 billion 430 million pounds decreased by 919 billion 592 million pounds.
Thus, the size of the KKM was 4.67 percent of the total deposits.
