Ukraine has been suffering from a defect, especially from a defect. Now the situation is threatened to tip after a partial delivery stop in the United States.

Ukraine has once again become the goal of severe Russian attacks at night – the more difficult news from the USA is all the more difficult. Accordingly, Washington stops the delivery of some weapons that have already been promised to the country attacked by Russia. Weapons that Ukraine would need bitter.

On Wednesday night, Russian troops used 114 drones and 4 converted rockets of the S-300 missiles for their attacks. There were impacts in the regions of Kharkiw, Cherson, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk.

For weeks, the Russian military has been trying to overload the Ukrainians’ air defense. Sometimes rockets and drones against the neighboring country are sent several times a week in large waves. In a few nights, the number of deployed rose to well over 400. In the capital Kiev, more than 40 people were killed in June alone. Because the aircraft systems are not sufficient to cover the area, the Ukrainian air defense is forced to concentrate the existing systems in the cities.

Under these circumstances, the news of the partial delivery stop that Kiev has now reached from the USA is all the bitter. Rakets and ammunition are affected, reported “Politico” and the broadcaster NBC News, citing the matter, familiar with the matter or defense officials and congress members. The background of the decision from the Pentagon is therefore concerned about too small US weapons. The media reported that there had been a review of the stocks beforehand.

The White House did not confirm any details on request. In a statement by the deputy spokeswoman for the White House, Anna Kelly, it was said: “This decision was made to put the interests of America in the foreground after the Ministry of Defense had checked the military support and help of our nation for other countries around the world.”

The US Department of Defense also did not provide any details. He will not “respond to which weapons were paused and when we provide what,” said spokesman Sean Parnell when asked. However, he emphasized that the US military “has everything it needs to carry out every mission everywhere, anytime, anywhere in the world”. It is an ongoing review of the military skills that should ensure that US arms deliveries with their own priorities would be in line.

According to the NBC News, dozens of patriot rockets, which were still promised by Ukraine by former US President Joe Biden, are among the reserved weapons systems. The country urgently needs this for the defense against Russian air strikes. Most recently, US media had estimated the supplies for over 30 patriot start devices on less than 200 interceptors.

At a meeting with US President Donald Trump, the Ukrainian head of state Wolodymyr Selenskyj tried to persuade him to sell this to his country for the sale of further patriot systems. The conversation did not bring a result. Trump later explained that the United States does not have so many of the anti -aircraft complexes and need it.

The Trump government had already hired the US military aid for Ukraine for the time being at the beginning of March. At the time, it was said that Trump’s focus was on peace from the White House. According to reports, deliveries that had still been approved by the previous government under Joe Biden are affected.

Under these circumstances, help from Europe, especially from Germany, becomes even more important for Ukraine. According to the Institute for the World Economy (IFW) in Kiel, the Europeans have already overtaken the United States in the scope of military aid. “For the first time since June 2022, Europe exceeded the United States at the entire military aid – with a total of EUR 72 billion compared to EUR 65 billion from the United States,” said IFW in mid -June. Deliveries up to and including April were taken into account. In the meantime, this tendency is likely to have reinforced.
