In the Eurozone, the Economy Confidence Index decreased to 94 on a monthly basis and decreased to 94.

The European Union (EU) Commission published the results of the June Business and Consumer Survey.

Accordingly, the economic confidence index in the EU declined by 1 point on a monthly basis and 94 points.

In the Euro Region, the index decreased by 0.8 points in the same period and fell to 94 points.

Market expectations were that the index in the Euro region would have 95.1 points. The data announced below expectations.

The decline in the index stemmed from the fall of trust in the industrial sector and the decrease in retail trade.

The Consumer Confidence Index of the Euro Region decreased from minus 15.1 to minus 15.3 in June. In the EU, the index fell from minus 14.5 to minus 14.8 in June.

Thus, there was some slimming in the expectations of consumers regarding the general economic situation in the Euro Region.
