The Ministry of Treasury and Finance announced the results of the budget application for June.
Accordingly, in June, budget revenues increased by 53.8 percent to 909 billion 427 million pounds compared to the same month of the previous year, and budget expenses increased by 43.1 percent to 1 trillion 239 billion 603 million pounds.
In January-June period, budget revenues, compared to the same period of the previous year, 46.1 percent increased by 5 trillion 598 billion 580 million pounds. Budget expenses increased by 43.7 percent in the same period to 6 trillion 579 billion 58 million pounds.
Central government budget, 330 billion 176 million pounds in June, January-June period 980 billion 478 million pounds deficit gave.
The statement of the Ministry is as follows;
“In June 2025, central government budget expenses were 1 trillion 239.6 billion TL, budget revenues were 909.4 billion TL and budget deficit was 330.2 billion TL. In addition, non -interest budget expenses were 963.9 billion TL and 54.5 billion TL.
While the central government budget gave a deficit of TL 275 billion 280 million in June 2024, in June 2025, 330 billion 176 million TL deficit. In June 2024, 176 billion 4 million TL was given an open -off deficit, while in June 2025, 54 billion 501 million TL was given an outdoor deficit.
Central Government Budget Expenses As of June, 1 trillion 239 billion 603 million TL was realized. Interest expenditures were 275 billion 675 million TL and expenditures excluding interest were 963 billion 928 million TL.
In 2025, 14 trillion 731 billion 14 million TL for central government budget expenses was approved by 1 trillion 239 billion 603 million TL in June. In the same month of last year, 866 billion 498 million TL was spent. June budget expenses increased by 43.1 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. The realization rate of expenses according to the budget allowances was 7.8 percent in 2024 and 8.4 percent in 2025. Except for interest, budget expenses increased by 25.6 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and was 963 billion 928 million TL. The realization rate of expenses excluding interest according to the budget allowances was 7.8 percent in 2024, while 7.5 percent in 2025.
Central government budget revenues were 909 billion 427 million TL as of June. Tax revenues were 764 billion 929 million TL and general budget revenues were 117 billion 756 million TL.
