BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul gained 1.65 percent in the first half of the day and reached 13,929.76 points.
BIST 100 index, which moved in an upward trend in the first half of the day, rose to 13,929.76 points as of 13:00, an increase of 225.80 points and 1.65 percent compared to the previous closing.
The total transaction volume was 85.8 billion lira. The banking index gained 3.23 percent and the holding index gained 1.38 percent.
Among the sector indices, the one that increased the most was metal goods machinery with 3.97 percent, and the one that lost the most value was sports with 0.99 percent.
Global markets remain mixed as geopolitical risks related to the US/Israel-Iran War overshadow the AI rally.
Analysts stated that JOLTS vacancy data in the USA will be followed for the rest of the day, and stated that technically, 14,000 and 14,100 points in the BIST 100 index are resistance, and 13,800 and 13,700 points are support.
