Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl, the first-person shooter, horror and realistic simulation game developed by Ukrainian video game studio GSC Game World and released today (November 20, 2024), has arrived on Xbox Series X and S, Microsoft Windows platforms.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl has been released for PC and Xbox Series X/S. Developed by GSC Game World, the game met with players after a development process that went through many difficulties, from the pandemic to cyber attacks and the war in Ukraine.
SUBJECT AND FEATURES OF THE GAME
STALKER 2 takes place in the fictional Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, where a second explosion is assumed to have occurred after the Chernobyl disaster in 1986. The region is depicted as a place filled with deadly radiation, mutated creatures, and mysterious anomalies.
Players take on the role of a stalker named Skif, trying to discover the secrets of the area and survive. The story of the game is shaped by the decisions players make and is enriched with three hours of cinematic cutscenes.
STALKER 2 is available for PC users via Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG; It is on sale via Microsoft Store for Xbox users. Additionally, Game Pass subscribers can access the game from day one.
