SSI raised carer support to working mothers to 510 euros

The EDUCARE II project, which was initiated by SSI with the aim of not breaking the business life of women with small children and made children’s caregiver by trained people, continues.

In the project, which was supported by mothers who work as an insured of 4/A (SSK) in Ankara, Istanbul and İzmir and employed carer carers for the care of 0-36 months (including 36 months), the monthly support amount was increased from 325 euros to 510 euros.

With a total budget of approximately 15.3 million euros, the project aims to remain in a total of 7 thousand women, including 3 thousand 500 mothers and 3 thousand 500 caregivers each month.

Applications for the project, where part-time working mothers can also benefit from, can be made via e-government.

Labor and Social Security Minister Vedat Işıkhan, AA correspondent, said the importance of increasing the employment registered for more powerful Turkey, drawing attention to the employment of registered women as one of the most important agenda items, he said.

Işıkhan emphasized that many projects they have implemented within the scope of their goals to ensure that women remain in employment and participate in employment.
