Salmon and trout export from Yozgat to Europe

The dam, which was started in 2011, has become an important source of livelihood for the local people.

Thanks to the cage systems established on the Dam Lake, the manufacturers send fish to both the domestic market and abroad.

Adem Yilmaz, the local people, journalists, the dam was underwater with the construction of the land, he said.

Stating that he started fisheries in 2015 and produced trout and Turkish salmon in the facility he established, Yılmaz said that they made 225 tons of production annually in 18 cages.

Expressing that the dam offers great opportunities in terms of production, Yilmaz said, “After reaching a certain weight of the puppy we receive about 5 grams, we send it to the Black Sea. The growing salmon is exported to European countries.” he said.

Yılmaz stated that they sent their trout to the export companies they work with and said:

“Some of these fish are processed in factories and go to Europe. Currently, we are sending trout to Denmark and salmon to Russia. The Turkish salmon is also mentioned in the Japanese market. Our source of livelihood is fishing. “
