Saber rattling in the Mediterranean: Russia fires missiles

Russia’s army has fired hypersonic missiles in the Mediterranean. The Defense Ministry in Moscow released footage showing the launch of several missiles.
As the civil war flares up again in Syria, the Russian military fired hypersonic missiles on Tuesday as part of naval and air force exercises in the eastern Mediterranean.
The Russian Ministry of Defense published relevant footage, which you can see here or in the video above.
Russian authorities said hypersonic missiles were also launched as part of the exercises, which involved warships, support ships, submarines and MIG-24 fighter jets.
