Rönesans Holding buys Rabobank’s rights in Türkiye

Rönesans Holding signed a share transfer agreement with Rabobank International Holding BV to acquire all shares of Rabobank AŞ.

According to the statement made by the company, with the agreement signed between Rönesans Holding and Rabobank International Holding BV, all shares of Rabobank AŞ, which has been operating in Turkey since 2014 and serving large-scale corporate customers, will be transferred to Rönesans Holding after the completion of regulatory approvals.

Rönesans Holding, which has five main business lines: construction, energy, healthcare, real estate and industrial investments, will add the finance sector to its areas of activity with the acquisition.

The closing of the transaction, for which GKC Partners served as legal advisor to Rönesans Holding, is pending regulatory approval.

Rönesans Holding, which stands out with its ability to create foreign partnerships and international financing, made its first public offering in April 2024 and took one of its group companies, Rönesans Gayrimenkul Yatırım, public.
