The right -wing extremist Tommy Robinson is in custody for repeated false statements. As a court has now decided, that could change soon.

The British right -wing extremist Tommy Robinson will soon be released. His prison sentence was shortened by four months, reported the British news agency PA, referring to a court decision at the London High Court. It is expected to be released in the coming week.

Tommy Robinson, who is actually called Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, is one of the best-known right-wing extremist Britain. He has been in custody since October 2024 because, despite a judicial injunction, he had spread false claims about a Syrian refugee. Robinson does not show any regrets or regret, but he had assured that he would stick to the injunctive relief, PA quoted the responsible judge at the High Court.

Robinson is a highly controversial figure in Great Britain with connections to the hooligan scene. The former head of the right -wing extremist Association English Defense League is known for his anti -Islam activities. Even Brexit pioneer Sigel Farage clearly distanced himself from Robinson in the past-and even accepted the fracture with US multimillionaire Elon Musk, who is considered a supporter of Robinson.

Robinson played a problematic role, among other things, during the right-wing extremist riots in England last summer with its social media activities. With his millions of mails clicked millions, he continued to heat the mood.

The days triggered by the days of riot was a knife attack in Southport near Liverpool at the end of July, in which three girls in primary school age were killed. In social networks, false reports then spread that the perpetrator was a Muslim migrant. As a result, accommodations for asylum seekers, mosques and shops were attacked in several cities in England and Northern Ireland.

Musk repeatedly campaigned for Robinson. Among other things, Musk shared the post of a Robinson supporter on his X-account and commented on it with “Free Tommy”. He also shared Robinson’s account as well as other contributions in which the right -wing extremist and anti -Islam activist is described as a political prisoner.
