According to the Secret Service, emergency services shot a person in a shooting incident near the White House in the US capital Washington. The condition of the person is currently unknown, said the security authority responsible for the personal protection of high-ranking politicians.
Accordingly, there was a confrontation between an armed person and the Secret Service. The incident occurred south of the White House. “Please avoid the area as emergency services are on duty,” it said.
