“Medal of Honor” carrier
Pentagon deletes entries from black war heroes

The “Medal of Honor” is the highest award that soldiers can receive in the USA. The Pentagon has now apparently started to temporarily delete websites of black war heroes.
If it were not seamlessly inserted into a number of questionable political decisions by US President Donald Trump, it could be dismissed as a technical defect due to its absurdity. But apparently the US Department of Defense systematically deleted websites that reminded of the merits of black war heroes.
Among other things, the British “Guardian” reported on Sunday that the website about Charles Calvin Rogers, who was honored for his commitment in the Vietnam War with the “Medal of Honor”, the highest military award in the United States, was no longer called up. And even by Monday afternoon you will receive an error message from the government agency with the indication that the page may be deleted, renamed or temporarily unavailable.
That could be a technical mistake-but a look at the URL line of the called side arouses doubts. Where the word “Medal” previously stood, the three letters “Dei” were now added – an abbreviation for diversity (diversity), equity (equal opportunities) and inclusion (inclusion). Under the new US government, state programs for promoting diversity, fairness and inclusion are hired. Measures against discrimination are now considered “illegal discrimination” under Trump.
The addition in the URL suggests that the entry to Rogers was deliberately deleted – and suggests that it had only received the highest military award as part of an equality measure. So far, the Pentagon has not responded to a request from the “Guardian”. As if nothing had happened, the page suddenly can be called up normally on Monday afternoon. The provocation in the URL line has now disappeared, but the page again cannot be called up.
Since Trump’s taking office, the so-called DEI programs have been returned in numerous US authorities. Apparently the photo archives of the American armed forces are now also affected. As the news agency “Associated Press” reported last week, over 26,000 pictures were marked on a government page – up to 100,000 files could be affected.
