Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı made statements on his social media account regarding agricultural supports. Yumaklı stated that the “Decision on Supports for Plant Production and Other Agricultural Supports to be Made in 2024” was published in the Official Gazette and said, “May it be beneficial for our farmers and producers.”
Yumaklı also drew attention to the fact that the support to be given to farmers for their production in 2024 was the last support decision announced according to the old model before the Plant Production Planning, and said, “We will start planning in plant production with the 2024-2025 production period. From now on, in the new model we will implement, our farmers will know in advance how much support they will receive for which product before the production period begins. We will also announce our support that will cover our farmers’ production in 2025 in the coming days.”
