CMB ANNOUNCED ITS DECISIONS REGARDING ACTUAL CIRCULATION RATIO AND SHAREHOLDING
The Capital Markets Board (CMB) announced its decisions regarding the actual circulation rate and shareholding this week. Accordingly, the Board had determined the shareholding notification obligation limit in the capital of issuers traded on the stock exchange as 3 percent as of the end of September 11, 2026.
On the other hand, the table showing real and legal persons with a direct share of 3 percent or more and the table showing real and legal persons with an indirect share of 10 percent or more, including hedge funds, will be updated instantly by MKK.
The indirect shareholding data announced by MKK will not be of a nature that can be directly taken as a basis for regulations in which indirect shareholding is evaluated, such as the takeover bid obligation.
The data in question will be given for the purpose of providing information regarding the rate of property rights.
The concept of shares in actual circulation will be defined as “the concept showing the free float rate”. The share ratio in actual circulation will be calculated by dividing the number of shares in actual circulation, calculated based on the shares that can be monitored by MKK, by the total number of shares that can be monitored by MKK.
