In the opinion of the army, a complete line -up of the Gaza Strip harbors risks, even for the hostages. Does Netanyahu get over the concerns? Or is that all just a negotiation tactic?

Israel’s head of government Benjamin Netanyahu, according to media reports, urges the Gaza Strip to be full in full, despite the objection of military management. The Israeli news page “Ynet” cited rank -high civil servants from Netanyahu’s environment with the words: “The cubes have fallen – we intend to completely fill the gaza strip.” However, the report speculates that this could also be part of a negotiation tactic in order to put pressure on the Islamist terrorist organization Hamas in view of the stuck conversations about a ceasefire and release of the hostages.

Netanyahu himself had previously said that he would be called the security cabinet this week to decide on the further procedure in the sealed and large -scale coastal strip. “I understand exactly what Hamas wants. She doesn’t want a deal,” the head of government said in a video message. He is now even more determined to free the hostages, to eliminate Hamas and to ensure that the Gaza Strip never runs out again.

Israel’s military currently has around 75 percent of the area of the Gaza Strip. The “Times of Israel” described the removal of all Hamas tunnels and bunkers for years, described the army leadership against full intake. The hostages could also be in danger and killed by their kidnappers should Israel’s troops approach the places where they are recorded. According to Israeli assessment, there are currently 50 hostages in the violence of Hamas, 20 of which are still alive.

Despite the concerns of the military, Netanyahu ministers informed that he would try to support the cabinet for a plan to complete Gaza, reported the “Times of Israel”. The news page “Ynet” quoted an official with the words: “If the chief of staff (Ejal Zamir) does not agree, then it should resign.” According to reports, Zamir is said to have had violent discussions with ultra -right ministers at last meetings of the security cabinet, who are calling for the use of the entire Gaza Strip, the deportation of the Palestinian population to other countries and the establishment of Jewish settlements.

Netanyahu, against which a corruption process is running, is dependent on his right -wing extremist coalition partners for his political survival. On the reports that he has now decided to have Gaza taken, Israel’s former army spokesman Peter Lerner wrote on the platform X: “This is political survival, masked as national security. Netanyahu storms blindly and pulls our sons and daughters into an endless swamp.” With every day the war moves, the hostages are in greater danger. He prays that Zamir “has the courage to oppose this absurd plan that is not directed against Hamas. He is directed against Israel,” he wrote.
