As a result of Russian attacks on Ukraine, drones crash on NATO territory again and again. Now there is a new case in Romania.

NATO has promised Romania that it will expand its defense capabilities after a drone hit a residential building. “We condemn Russia’s recklessness, and NATO will continue to strengthen its defense against all threats – including drones,” said spokeswoman Allison Hart. Secretary General Mark Rutte is in contact with the Romanian authorities after the drone hit. The incident occurred when Russia attacked Ukrainian infrastructure near the border.

The EU and NATO country Romania had previously asked for support. As the Foreign Ministry in Bucharest announced, the transfer of drone defense technology should be accelerated.
