In the written statement made by the Ministry, it was stated that the Ministry continues to contribute to the successful presentation of Turkish brands and products to the global market through e-export, in line with technological progress and global trade dynamics.

In the statement, it was stated that the “Potential e-Export Markets Report”, prepared specifically for e-export, focusing on the Remote Countries Strategy, was updated and expanded under the name “e-Export Markets and Country Customs Practices Guide” with the joint work of the General Directorates of Export and Customs for 2024. It was stated that the guide, published on the Ministry’s website with its new content, offers exporters a strategic road map on potential markets and brings together the information they may need regarding e-export in a single source.

In the statement, the following information was shared regarding the details of the guide:

“The ‘E-Export Markets’ section, which is the first part of the guide consisting of two main sections, provides guidelines for creating market entry strategies on many important issues such as socioeconomic analysis, payment systems, social media trends, e-commerce legislation and fast shipping infrastructure. The second part of the guide The section ‘Country Customs Practices’ contains in-depth information on foreign trade and customs processes. This section will facilitate the customs processes of exporters, from general procedures on cross-border e-commerce transactions to detailed information such as country-specific tax practices, prohibitions, exemptions and mandatory documents. “Comprehensive content is offered.”

In the statement, it was emphasized that the guide, prepared by making use of national and international sources, will be a “precious source of information” for the business world, decision makers and all relevant stakeholders, and that the expanded guide will facilitate the entry of companies into new markets, help them to hold on to these markets, grow and manage customs processes effectively. It was underlined that it would be a valuable resource.

In the statement, “As the Ministry of Commerce, we continue to work determinedly to bring our country to the position it deserves in global trade by supporting our exporters in the field of e-export as in every field.” evaluation was made.
