Within the scope of the TDT Ministers of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation Meeting held in Istanbul, 12 working groups were established.
Funding of joint R&D projects in working groups, scientific research scholarship and exchange programs, development of Artificial Intelligence-Digital transformation programs, organization of Aviation, Space and Technology Festival (TEKNOFEST) and youth technology programs in member observer countries, joint development of R&D and design centers developing projects, establishing joint ventures between countries and members, establishing joint projects for youth development, prioritizing investment funds and entrepreneurship, establishing an investment cooperation platform, implementing Turkey’s Technology Development Center (TEKMER) model in member countries, creating a comprehensive cooperation basis in the field of industry. Topics such as sharing information and experience with member countries and observers as a good example of the organized industrial zone model, developing industrial collaborations sectorally with this method, and establishing sectoral-based industrial collaborations will be discussed.
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, who made a statement on the issue on the social media platform X, said the following:
“On the margins of the 1st Meeting of Ministers of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation of the Organization of Turkic States, Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mr. Mikayıl Cabbarov, Kyrgyzstan Minister of Economy and Trade Mr. Daniyar Amangeldiev, TRNC Minister of Economy and Energy Mr. Olgun Amcaoğlu, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Mr. Kubanıçbek Ömuraliyev “We have had fruitful meetings with the Turkic World countries. We will deepen the cooperation between us and quickly implement concrete projects in the fields of science, technology, innovation and industry.”
In another post on social media, Kacır underlined that the strong unity of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States will be a starting point for the future and concluded his words as follows:
“We have determined common goals that will further our cooperation in the fields of industry, science, technology and innovation. These goals will shed light on the future of the Turkish world and further strengthen the strong ties between us and the member countries.
