The Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) published May ‘Service Manufacturer Price Index’ (H-PPI) data in May.
The index increased by 2.37 percent in May compared to the previous month, 21.42 percent compared to December 2024 and 38.16 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. Looking at the twelve -month averages, the annual increase was 48.65 percent.
The lowest increase on an annual basis was seen in transportation and storage services with 31.33 percent, while accommodation and food services rose by 38.38 percent, information and communication services by 46.69 percent and real estate services increased by 43.04 percent. 48.69 percent of professional, scientific and technical services, administrative and support services increased by 43.68 percent.
The highest monthly increase in the informal
When the monthly changes were examined, 1.33 percent of transportation and storage services, 4.13 percent in accommodation and food services, 1.02 percent of information and communication services, and 1.12 percent of professional, scientific and technical services increased. Monthly increase in real estate services reached the highest level with 7.41 percent. The increase in administrative and support services was recorded as 3.80 percent.
