Cs 1.6 stamped a period
The last version of Counter-Strike, which was released in 2000, was released in 2003 and made history as one of the most iconic games. According to the statements, the name of the project will be CS: Legacy. The game, which is completely built from scratch and will be an independent production, is also developed by Valve’s official Source engine released in 2013.
CS: Legacy is being developed based on Valve’s 2013 Source Engine SDK. However, developers made major changes on the engine and formed their own special branches. These changes include a special rendering system, physics -based shading (PBR), a renewed reflection system, and a completely customized user interface. In addition, all models, textures, sounds and animations for the game are redesigned from scratch.
Although developers have not yet announced a definite release date, the early access version is expected to meet players soon. CS: Legacy aims to revive the love for the Counter-Strike series and present the classic spirit of the game with a modern touch.
