Luhansk: Dead in attack on minibus – rockets on Donetsk

The Russian army already controls large parts of eastern Ukraine and continues to attack. Kyiv is trying to counteract it with drone and missile attacks. A bus was targeted in the Luhansk region.
According to the occupation authorities, at least nine people were killed in a drone attack on a minibus in the Russian-occupied part of the eastern Ukrainian region of Luhansk. Another six were injured, said the from Moscow appointed regional governor, Leonid Passetschnik, on the Telegram platform.
Accordingly, the bus was traveling with 15 passengers on the route from Lysychansk to Kadiivka. The road in question is around 50 kilometers from the front line. Kyiv regularly denies allegations of attacks on civilians.
In the neighboring Donetsk region, local media also reported a Ukrainian attack with cruise missiles on the Russian-occupied regional capital of the same name. According to reports, there were four to five explosions. Video footage of a huge cloud of smoke circulated on social media. For the time being, nothing was known about possible victims.
Russia has been waging war against its neighbor Ukraine since February 2022. Moscow lays claim to southern and eastern parts of the neighboring country. Only the Luhansk region is considered almost entirely under Russian control.
