The BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul lost 2.71 percent of its value in the first half of the day, falling to 12,549.18 points.
BIST 100 index, which moved in a downward trend in the first half of the day, fell to 12,549.18 points as of 13:00, a decrease of 350.16 points and 2.71 percent compared to the previous closing.
The total transaction volume was 56.8 billion lira. The banking index lost 1.24 percent and the holding index lost 3.52 percent.
While all sector indices lost value, the biggest decrease was financial leasing factoring with 8.94 percent.
Analysts stated that the September Dallas Fed manufacturing industry index will be followed in the USA for the rest of the day, and noted that technically, 12,400 and 12,200 points in the BIST 100 index are support, and 12,700 and 12,800 points are resistance.
