The US President attacks further elite universities. A judge threatens the Trump government with investigations. All developments in the news blog.

A US judge is convinced that the Trump government was guilty of disregarding the law when she deported people to El Salvador last month. Judge James Boasberg, head of the district court of the District of Columbia, had decided in March that two deportation fees to El Salvador would have to reverse immediately because the deported would not have received a decent procedure.

The Trump government “deliberately disregarded” judicial orders on this day, explained Boasberg. “There is a probable reason to condemn the government for disregarding the court”.

The government now has time until April 23 to clear the allegations, Boasberg writes. Otherwise, it must name the name of the person or the persons who, despite his arrangement, decided not to stop deportation to El Salvador. Boasberg explains that in this case he would take criminal steps against the person responsible.

US President Donald Trump followed up in his dispute with the Elite University Harvard. “Harvard is a joke, teaches hatred and stupidity and should no longer receive federal funds,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.

Harvard should no longer be on a list of the best universities or universities in the world, the President continued. “Harvard has almost exclusively set Woke, left -wing radicals, idiots and ‘sparrow brain’,” said Trump.

Trump has accused the university a left -wing ideology for a long time. Harvard refuses to implement the course change required by Trump, for example when admission of students. The US government then put Harvard promotion money on hold in billions. Finally, Trump threatened that Harvard could lose his tax benefits and taxed as a political institution.

The White House limits the access of news agencies to US President Donald Trump via the so-called correspondent pool. Previously, the US news agency Associated Press (AP) had already been excluded from events in the Oval Office in the White House-himself contrary to a different judicial instruction. Representatives of news agencies – usually AP, Reuters and Bloomberg – should no longer have places. Instead, these should rotate rotating to print or agency journalists. This was announced by Trump’s spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt on Tuesday (local time), as the “New York Times” reported.

In the United States, the president is accompanied by a group of reporters in public appearances. As a rule, television, radio, print media, news portals and agencies are represented. The selected reporters then share their information with the other colleagues-an important pillar for all journalists who report on the US President.

An AP spokeswoman said in a message that the agency was deeply disappointed that the government had chosen restrictions against all news agencies instead of restoring the access of the AP. The independent reporter association of the White House (WHCA) criticized in a message: “Today’s changes to the press pool show that the White House only uses a new means to do the same thing: to practice retaliation to news organizations for reporting that does not like the white house.”
