According to information received from the sources of the Ministry; In order to prepare for the meeting in question, a senior civil servants meeting will be held on 27-29 April in Jeddah. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nuh Yilmaz, the chairman of the meeting of the Senior Officers Meeting at the meeting will take over from the chairman of the delegation of Cameroon. Deputy Minister Yilmaz will make the opening speech at the meeting, OIC Secretary General Huseyin Ibrahim Taha will appeal to the participants. During the meeting at the OIC Headquarters in Jeddah, the decisions on the OIC agenda will be negotiated by the senior officers of 57 member states (Deputy Minister, General Manager, etc.), and reports regulating the general politics and principles of the organization will be discussed. The decisions adopted at the Senior Civil Servants Meeting are approved at the Council of Foreign Ministers.
1 -Year Presidency
Türkiye will host the Council of the 51st Foreign Ministers in Istanbul in June and take over the presidency of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation for 1 year. Türkiye hosted the Foreign Ministers Council meetings in 1976, 1991 and 2004. At the Council meetings, the situation in Cyprus, the Western Thrace Turkish Minority and the Turkish society on the twelve islands, Muslim minorities and the situation in Syria are accepted on issues concerning Muslim societies.
