GTA 6 The question of how many GB of space will it take up has finally been answered for one of the most anticipated productions of the gaming world. PlayStation Game Size, one of the reliable sources of the industry, announced the required storage space for the consoles of the highly anticipated game.
The production, which will be officially released on November 19, 2026, has been on the agenda for a long time with various allegations. Now, with information close to official data, this uncertainty has been eliminated. According to the PlayStation Game Size account, which tracks changes in the PlayStation database, the PS5 version of the game may require 210 GB of storage. It is stated that Insider Gaming has also independently verified this information.
This size corresponds to approximately one-third of the available SSD space in the original PlayStation 5 model.
However, there is no explanation shared by Rockstar regarding what factors cause the file size.
PC AND XBOX SIZE NOT KNOWN YET
Similar claims have been made before about the file size of GTA VI. In early October, a source called Cyberleak claimed that the game had a playable development version exceeding 200 GB. The new claim also supports this level of storage requirement. However, it is stated that the 210 GB information belongs to the current game version.
Released updates and additional content may change the final installation size. Additionally, it has not yet been independently verified how much space the Xbox Series X and Series S versions will require. According to Rockstar Games’ official calendar, GTA 6 will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, 2026. Preloading is expected to start on November 12.
