This week’s General Assembly and commission work in the Turkish Grand National Assembly will begin on Tuesday. The General Assembly will begin its discussions on the ‘Proposal Law on Amendments to Certain Laws’, which also includes regulations regarding peace of existence.
By offer; ‘The earnings and revenues of real persons who are considered to be settled in Türkiye, earned outside the country, provided that they do not have residence and tax liability in Türkiye in the last 3 calendar years before being considered to be settled in Türkiye, will be exempt from income tax for 20 years.
The maximum installment period for deferments regarding public receivables will be increased from 36 months to 72 months, and the unsecured deferment amount will be increased to 1 million lira.
Income tax exemption will be applied for the part of the wages of qualified service personnel employed in qualified service centers that does not exceed 3 times the gross minimum wage.
If money, gold, foreign currency, securities and other capital market instruments held abroad by real or legal persons are reported to banks or intermediary institutions until July 31, 2027, no tax audit or tax assessment will be made regarding the amounts corresponding to the assets in question.
The 100 percent corporate tax deduction applied to the earnings of organizations that carry out financial activities by obtaining a participation certificate in the Istanbul Financial Center will be extended until 2047, and the exemption provided to these organizations for 5 years in terms of financial activity fees for their establishment and licenses will be increased to 20 years.
COMMISSION AGENDA
The Foreign Affairs Commission will meet on Wednesday to discuss 5 international agreements. The Joint Commission, consisting of Members of the Petition Commission and the Human Rights Investigation Commission, will discuss the issues on its agenda. In addition to the General Assembly and commission work, group meetings of the political parties that have groups in the Parliament will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Group deputy chairmen of the parties will also hold press conferences on current issues.
