Despite the ceasefire, the Israeli military reports another attack on a target in the north of the Gaza Strip. More than 100 Palestinians were killed in previous attacks.

Despite the renewed ceasefire, the Israeli army has attacked a target in the northern Gaza Strip. The military said “terrorist infrastructure” had been shelled in Beit Lahia. Weapons were stored there that were to be used in an imminent attack on Israeli soldiers. The information could not be independently verified.

After massive Israeli air strikes following a fatal attack on soldiers in the Gaza Strip, the ceasefire agreed as part of US President Donald Trump’s Gaza peace plan was due to be in effect again from this morning. More than 100 Palestinians were killed in the attacks, according to the Hamas-controlled health authority.

The Israeli army released a list of names of 26 suspected terrorists, including senior Hamas commanders, who were targeted in the attacks. However, Hamas’ media office called the list “misleading” in a statement. It contains, among other things, fake identities and names of Palestinians who were killed in other places and at other times. Within twelve hours, 109 Palestinians were killed in the attacks, including 52 minors and 23 women, the office said. The information could not be independently verified.
