Iran calls on to react to the UN Security Council. At the same time he threatens retaliation.

The leadership in Tehran sees Israel’s attack as a “declaration of war”. The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Friday that Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi asked the UN Security Council in a letter to the United Nations “to deal with this topic immediately”. The minister continued to declare that the attacks on military facilities and nuclear facilities in Iran are a “declaration of war” of Israel.

Israel had started a major attack on Iran on Friday night and attacked around a hundred destinations, including in the capital Tehran and in the nuclear system of Natan. According to the Israeli army, underground systems for uranium enrichment were hit in Natan’s underground facilities. Iran’s spiritual head Ayatollah Ali Chamenei threatened Israel with consequences.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that military operation against Iran would “take as many days as necessary”. On Friday afternoon, another series of explosions was registered in the northwest of Iran, as Iranian state television reported. These had occurred in the province of East Aserbaijan.

The Iranian news agency Tasnim had reported that ten goals in the province had been hit in a previously wave of attack and at least three people were killed.
