Economists participating in the AA Finans Inflation Expectation Survey estimates that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.97 percent in February.
AA Finans’ Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) will be announced on Monday, March 3, February inflation data for the expectation survey of 20 economists resulted in the participation of 20 economists.
The average of inflation expectations of the economists participating in the survey was 2.97 percent. Inflation expectations of economists for February took place between 2.30 percent and 3.40 percent. According to the average of economists’ inflation expectations in February (2.97 percent), annual inflation, which was 42.12 percent in the previous month, is expected to decrease to 40 percent.
On the other hand, economists’ end of 2025 inflation expectation was 28.67 percent as of February.
The consumer price index increased by 5.03 percent in January.
