Inflation in the USA came within expectations

US inflation, which is expected to guide the FED’s monetary policy, was 2.9 percent, within expectations. Core CPI was 0.2 percent on a monthly basis, below expectations. Expectations were 0.3 percent. On an annual basis, consumer prices excluding food and energy were 3.2 percent annually.

The data gave rise to global stock markets as it gave the FED room to cut further. Maturities in the US stock markets are up 1 percent!

The DXY Index, which measures the strength of the dollar against other currencies, fell below 109 to 108.56. The rise in European stock markets reached 1 percent.

Dollar/TL decreased to 35.47 TL. Borsa Istanbul, on the other hand, is rising by over 0.60 percent, led by banking stocks!
