The automotive industry was recorded as the sector with the highest exports last month, with 3.4 billion dollars.
According to the data of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), the automotive industry, one of the industrial group sectors, achieved exports of 3.4 billion dollars in September. The sector in question was followed by chemicals and products with 2.2 billion dollars, and the ready-made clothing and apparel sector with 1.6 billion dollars.
The sector that increased its exports the most in September was the dried fruit and products sector with 47.2 percent.
Exports of the industrial group, which realizes 81.9 percent of Türkiye’s exports, were calculated as 15.8 billion dollars with an increase of 1.1 percent last month.
In September, exports of approximately 3 billion dollars were made in the agricultural group, which constitutes 15.5 percent of exports, with an increase of 1.1 percent, and in the mining group, which constitutes 2.5 percent of exports, 491.7 million dollars were made with an increase of 1 percent.
MOST EXPORTS TO GERMANY
While exports to 113 countries increased in September, the top three export countries were Germany with 1.5 billion dollars, the United Kingdom with 1.2 billion dollars and the USA with 1 billion dollars.
The top 3 cities with the most exports during this period were Istanbul with 7.8 billion dollars, Kocaeli with 1.8 billion dollars and Bursa with 1.4 billion dollars.
45 PROVINCES INCREASED THEIR EXPORTS
While 1,189 companies exported for the first time in September, the kilogram unit value increased by 6 percent and reached 1.53 dollars.
