58-year-old Gülseren Türker, who lives in Ordu, helped her husband, who was a livestock breeder, with tasks such as grazing, milking and caring for the animals after they got married in 1984. Türker learned every stage of the business over the years.
Türker, who spent 6 months of the year in the camp at an altitude of over 2 thousand, continued to run the business with the support of his two sons after the death of his wife three years ago.
Türker, who continues his preparations to return from the camp as the weather cools down, said that they have been going to the camp on the 15th of May for 40 years.
Türker stated that they returned to their homes in Altınordu district in late October or early November, depending on the temperature, and by that time, 93 cattle were spread out in the meadows.
