Social security expert Mert Nayır stated that his expectation is a 30 percent increase in the minimum wage. However, Nayır said that after the latest statements, a net minimum wage of 23 thousand liras is more likely.
Nayır said, “The figure that Ankara lobbies agree on is that the minimum wage is close to 23 thousand liras, with a figure between 35-40 percent.”
Nayır also listed the minimum wage possibilities according to percentages as follows:
If there is a 25 percent increase, it will be 21 thousand 252 TL
If there is a 30 percent increase, it will be 22 thousand 102 TL
If there is a 35 percent increase, it will be 22 thousand 952 TL
If there is a 40 percent increase, it will be 23 thousand 802 TL
If there is a 45 percent increase, it will be 24 thousand 652 TL
