Hamas hands over two more bodies to Red Cross

Due to a new escalation of violence, Hamas postponed the handover of a body announced on Tuesday. After the ceasefire was renewed, mortal remains were sent.
The Islamist Hamas has handed over two bodies to employees of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), which are said to be the remains of hostages kidnapped from Israel. The military said they were on their way to meet representatives of the Israeli army.
Contrary to what was agreed as part of US President Donald Trump’s Gaza peace plan, the terrorist organization is only slowly handing over the bodies. She justifies this by saying that it is difficult for her to find the dead because they are buried under the rubble of bombed buildings and tunnels. Israel calls this Hamas lies.
The Islamist organization released all remaining hostages on October 13 in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners. If the remains were those of two hostages, eleven bodies of those abducted would still remain in the Gaza Strip.
On Tuesday, Hamas had already announced that it would hand over a body, but postponed this in view of new attacks by Israel. Israel responded to a deadly attack on Israeli soldiers in the southern Gaza Strip with the attacks, which the Hamas-controlled health authority said killed more than 100 people. The ceasefire was renewed, but Israel continued to attack targets in the coastal strip. Hamas and Israel accuse each other of violations.
