The universities that graduated many billionaires, from Elon Musk to Mark Zuckerberg, have been announced. Forbes magazine published the list of universities with the most billionaire graduates.
In the USA, which is home to more than 700 billionaires, the total wealth of the billionaires who graduated from the 12 universities on the list was calculated as 1.7 trillion dollars.
Forbes’ list was listed as follows:
12) University of California
The richest billionaire of the university, which graduated 10 billionaires from Berkeley district, was Charles Simonyi, who developed Word and Excel. Along with Simonyi’s fortune of $7.7 billion, the total wealth of university graduates was calculated as $30.4 billion.
11) University of Michigan
The University of Michigan has graduated 10 billionaires, including Google co-founder Larry Page. The total wealth of graduating billionaires reached $181 billion, including Larry Page’s fortune of $146.1 billion.
10) Columbia University
Columbia University ranked 10th on the list with 11 billionaires it graduated from. The total wealth of billionaires graduated from the University was calculated as 49.5 billion dollars. Among the graduate billionaires of the university, HIG Capital CEO Sami Mnaymneh, Mediacom founder Rocco Commisso, Third Point hedge fund founder Daniel Loeb and New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft took part.
