After reaching the lowest point of 8,846.07 and the highest point of 9,051.60, BIST 100 index closed the week at 8,885.00 points, losing 0.26 percent compared to the previous week’s closing.
Borsa Istanbul investors have faced deep selling pressure since the second half of the year. BIST100 index, which dropped to 8,640 in October, is pushing the 9,000 level in November.
The gram sales price of 24 carat gold bullion traded in the Grand Bazaar increased by 0.53 percent this week to 3 thousand 31 liras, and the sales price of Republic gold increased by 0.60 percent to 20 thousand 600 liras.
The sales price of quarter gold, which was 5 thousand 140 liras last weekend, increased by 0.58 percent and reached 5 thousand 170 liras.
This week, the US dollar appreciated by 0.14 percent to 34.3360 lira, and the Euro increased by 0.31 percent to 37.3300 lira. Investment funds increased by 0.56 percent and pension funds by 0.38 percent this week.
When the categories were examined, the most profitable investment funds were “precious metal” funds with 1.77 percent.
