The World Food Prices Index, which follows the monthly changes in cereals, oil seeds, dairy seeds, meat and sugar prices compiled by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), fell to 124.9 points in January, while 6.2 percent higher than the same month of the previous year. .
The index announced as 127.0 in December was not revised.
Sugar prices fell by 6.8 percent compared to the previous month, 18.5 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
Herbal oil prices decreased by 5.6 percent monthly, 24.9 percent higher than the same month of the previous year.
