An important step is being taken to increase women’s employment in the transportation sector. With the new regulation, serious support will be provided to the companies that employ female drivers. Together with this decision, it is aimed to take women in the sector more, while companies will have significant advantages.

With the new regulations made in the Road Transport Regulation, radical changes in the transportation sector are implemented. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that a comprehensive transformation process has been initiated in order to increase the quality of service in the field of transportation and to respond to sectoral needs.

MOTOCURES WILL BE REGISTERED

Within the scope of the new regulation, an important step was taken for motocurya. Motocurya, which will be recorded for the first time, will continue their activities with P1 authorization certificate. It is stated that this application will facilitate the audit process and will draw up the service standards.

95 percent discount and will be free for 3 months

The incentives that attract attention in order for women to take more place in the transportation sector are also enacted. Firms running female drivers will benefit from some advantages in the new period:

The vehicle card fee for each female driver will be only 150 TL with a discount of 95 %.

The authority documents for companies with a female employment rate reaching 10 %will be extended free of charge for 3 months.

These steps are aimed to increase women’s employment in the sector and to contribute to the establishment of a more inclusive transport structure.
