Fighting in cyberspace with domestic artificial intelligence

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu shared data on the work of the Cyber ​​Incident Response Center. He said that the fight against cyber incidents is carried out with the support of domestic artificial intelligence. Uraloğlu announced that 64 thousand 115 phishing attacks aimed at defrauding were blocked with national technology.

In the last week, 282 million 33 thousand access requests to 424 thousand 156 malicious internet addresses were blocked. Minister Uraloğlu said, “In order to prevent domestic and foreign cyber threats, it ensures Turkey’s cyber security by carrying out activities related to alarms, warnings and announcements, and with technological measures, threat intelligence and services for the protection of critical infrastructures.”

Stating that “We are protecting Turkey’s cyberspace 24 hours a day, 7 days a week”, Minister Uraloğlu stated that they detected 15 thousand 330 cyber security vulnerabilities in the scans carried out in 2024 and informed the relevant institutions.

Underlining that domestic and national software makes significant contributions to the response to cyber incidents, Minister Uraloğlu emphasized that they have undertaken exemplary work in national cyber security with projects developed entirely with internal resources, such as Hunter, Azad and Hurricane.
