The EU Commission announced that 116 companies from various sectors such as technology, telecommunications, healthcare, banking, automotive and aviation have signed the EU artificial intelligence pact.
In the statement, it was stated that before the implementation of the EU artificial intelligence law with the pact, companies made voluntary commitments in areas such as management strategy in this field, determination of high risk systems and awareness.
Companies that signed the pact include Microsoft, Google, Amazon, OpenAI, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Lenovo, Samsung, Qualcomm, Sap and Adobe.
It was noteworthy that Meta, the owner of Facebook and Instagram, did not participate in the pact.
